We are very proud to announce that we have been approved by Trading Stands and
are now members of the 'Buy with Confidence Scheme'
The scheme was launched by Devon County Council Trading Standards Service in
response to concerns of 'rouge traders' Buy with Confidence provides consumers
with the confidence to buy from the approved list of businesses which have given
their commitment to trading fairly. Every Business on their list has undergone a
series of detailed checks before being approved as a member of the scheme.

Membership of the scheme is not given lightly – amongst other checks, each
applicant will have their complaints history reviewed and will receive a visit
from Trading Standards. Good references are required from previous customers and
applicants must agree to abide by the scheme's code of conduct, which requires
them to follow the letter and spirit of the law. As a domestic plumbing &
heating business, we work in our customers homes, so part of our application was
to undertake a criminal disclosure check. Copies of Paul's disclosure can be
provided upon application.
